It's spring season now in South Korea and there're a few spots here(outside of the capital city, Seoul) you should pay a visit to witness the beauty of cherry blossom here in Korea. One the most beautiful spots here to celebrate the spring festival is a place called Jinhae, located at the South of S.Korea and it's a city close to the 2nd largest city in Korea, Busan.

How to get to Jinhae?
One can get to Jinhae by bus, ktx or by air.
Bus: You could easily reserve your bus tickets to Jinhae here at the website (available in Eng; for those who understands Korean and has a Korean number go ahead and download 시외버스모바일 app) The bus trip is approximately 4and a half hours and this is the cheapest way to go to Jinhae.

KTX or by air: You'll need to arrive at Busan, and take a bus trip from Masan Bus Terminal (마산시외버스터미널), Bus fare is approximately 5,100won, 1 to 1 and a half hour bus trip depending on the traffic. No reservation is needed for this as the Busan<-> Jinhae bus comes quite frequent (about 15-20 mins gap)
Jinhae is a rather small city and the main attractions here are quite close to each other. Some is within walking distance and some you might need to catch a bus (for those who understand Korean this will be much easier) or a taxi.
Places to Visit:
There are actually many attractions in Jinhae, and the ones circled in red are the top 3 tourist hot spots for cherry blossom festival. (Box in yellow is the Jinhae Bus Terminal, which is within walking distance to teh Naval Training Command Centre)

1. Jinhae Gyeonghwa Station (경화역)
It used to be a real train station but the service was discontinued since February 2015, where the train only stops at Masan, Changwon and Jinhae Station.
During the cherry blossom festival cherry trees will bloom from both sites, covering the train that stopped in the middle of the railroad, making it one of the most mesmerising view to see at Jinhae. Take note that the crowd of people could be really really pack and I'll advise those who wish to go to Gyeonghwa Station to pay your visit here as early as possible. (We reach there by 7a.m.) It's very early I totally understand it, but trust me it's worth the view and you could take tonnes of good pictures here.

2. Jinhae Romance Bridge, Yeojwacheon Stream
(로망스다리, 여좌천)
Another typical place to view cherry blossom here in Jinhae. There're are bridges in between the streams and it's one of the best spots to take photos. One can go under the bridge and get close to see the stream as well as the cherry flowers. The view is beautiful for both day and night. You can enjoy some local street food over here too.

3. Naval Training Command Centre (행군교육사부령)
It is actually a naval army academy school and it is only opened to the public during Jinhae Gunhangjae Cherry Blossom Festival. The cherry blossom that blooms along the streets of this school will left one with awe. You can also pay a 2,000 shuttle bus fare to tour around the school. (No worries, you can hop on and off the bus)

Local Delicacies:
Try out the cherry blossom macaron, chocolate and cherry blossom little cake when you're here in Jinhae. These pastries are limited and only sold during the 10-days of cherry blossom festival here.

***TIPS:
Jinhae is a famous spot during cherry blossom festival here in S.Korea. The period for this festival usually last for only 10 days and only being held once a year. So you could easily imagine the crowd heading to this place. So get your transportation and accommodation (if you're planning to stay-over) settled as early as possible! and go to the tourist destinations as early as you can to avoid the crowd and get yourself some of the greatest pictures back home!^^
